New York!

I got a free flight that I had to use before the end of the year so on a whim, I decided to go visit some friends in New York. I’m heading out today and I’ll be there for one day. What should I do?

    Dress warm.
    Climb up the Statue of Liberty.
    Observation deck, Empire State Building.
    Go ice skating at Rockefeller Center.
    Shop in Times Square.
    Eat at Di Fara’s Pizza, http://kottke.org/10/10/di-fara-pizza-documentary
    Walk through Central Park.
    Watch a play on Broadway.
    See the art at the Guggenheim.
    More art at the Museum of Modern Art.
    Dinosaurs at the American Museum of Natural History!
    Check out the Metropolitan Museum of Art (if you could only do one, this would be the one).

    Wow, that’a a lot of stuff to get through in a day… Maybe I’ll just try to hit the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A couple people have recommended that now.
